These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Voyager Maps
mobile application (the “App”) and related services (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using
the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
On Google Play the App is listed as “Toilet Finder - WiFi Water” (package name com.voyagermap.voyagermobil.voyagermobil); on the Apple App Store it is listed as “Voyager Maps”.
The Service is provided by Kálmán Fekete (Fekete Kálmán), an individual developer trading as Voyager Maps (“Voyager Maps”, “we”, “us”), contact: [email protected]. The Service is provided free of charge.
The Service provides travel-related features including maps and points of interest (“POIs”), saved places, itineraries, sharing trips with other users, and reporting changes to places. Much of the map data comes from OpenStreetMap and from other users. Certain features require an account.
The Service is not intended for users under the age of 16. If you are under 16, do not use the Service.
Parts of the Service can be used without an account (“guest mode”). What you create in guest mode is stored only on your device and is not backed up by us: deleting the App, clearing its data or losing the device deletes it, and we cannot restore it. Creating an account transfers it to the account.
“User Content” means any data or content you submit, upload, create, or share through the Service, including: POI details, comments, descriptions, photos/images, files, and Wi-Fi-related information (such as SSID and, if you choose to provide it, passwords).
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content, you grant Voyager Maps a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and technical purposes), distribute, publicly display, and otherwise use your User Content as necessary to operate, provide, maintain, improve, and promote the Service, including making your submitted POI information and related media available within the App according to your sharing settings (e.g., public or shared with other users).
This license continues until your User Content is removed from the Service, except where retention is required by law, or where the content has been shared with others or others rely on it (for example, a public place saved by other users, or a shared trip), in which case it remains in the Service without being linked to you after your account is deleted, or where technical backups may persist for a limited period. One exception is set out in section 4.4: a report contributed to OpenStreetMap cannot be withdrawn from there, and removing it from the Service does not remove it from OpenStreetMap.
VoyagerMaps builds on OpenStreetMap, a public map database maintained by volunteers. When you report that a place has changed — that it closed, that its opening hours are different, that a car park now charges — or when you propose a new place, that report is useful to everyone who uses that map, not only to us.
By submitting such a report you grant us permission to contribute the place information in it, including any description of the place you write, to OpenStreetMap, where it is published under the Open Database License (ODbL) in accordance with the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s Contributor Terms. To the extent your description is protected by copyright, you license it to us for this purpose, and you agree that it may be published under those terms.

If you would rather not have a particular observation contributed, do not submit it as a report. This section applies only to reports and proposed places; it does not apply to the private POIs you keep for yourself.

We may review User Content and reports, and we may refuse, correct, restrict the visibility of or remove any content that is unlawful, violates these Terms or is inaccurate, and suspend accounts that repeatedly do so. Reports are reviewed by a person; automated checks only flag reports that are incomplete or cannot be applied to the map. When we remove your content or restrict your account, we tell you why, unless the law prevents it, and you can ask us to reconsider the decision by replying to the email address below.
If you believe content in the Service is unlawful, infringes rights, or should be removed (e.g., unauthorized image, Wi-Fi password, or other protected content), you may request removal by emailing [email protected]. This address is also our single point of contact for users and for authorities, in English or Hungarian.
Please use a clear subject line: “Content removal request” and include enough details to identify the content (e.g., screenshot, POI link/ID, description, and why it is unlawful or unauthorized), together with your name and email address. We may request additional information to verify your request, and we will review it without undue delay and tell you what we decided.
The Service and its software, design, and trademarks are owned by Voyager Maps or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
The Service may integrate third-party services (e.g., maps, analytics, advertising, authentication). Your use of third-party services may be governed by their terms and privacy policies. Voyager Maps is not responsible for third-party services.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voyager Maps disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of POI data.
Check on site. Place information comes from OpenStreetMap and from other users, and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Always check it on the spot before relying on it. In particular, we do not confirm that drinking water is safe to drink, that a place is open, accessible, free of charge or safe, that parking or camping is permitted, or that a Wi-Fi network is available. Follow local signs, rules and your own judgement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voyager Maps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Voyager Maps’ total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if you paid nothing, a reasonable minimum as required by law).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for damage to life, physical integrity or health, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, nor does it affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voyager Maps from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or used the Service unlawfully. Termination does not affect rights and obligations that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity).
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account in the App or as described on our Delete Your Account and Data page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict of laws principles. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually reside, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country. Otherwise, the Hungarian courts have jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated within the App before they take effect, and where required we will ask you to accept them again. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.
