Delete Your Account and Data

Effective date: October 19, 2026

You can delete your Voyager Maps account and the personal data associated with it at any time, in the App. Voyager Maps is operated by Kálmán Fekete (Fekete Kálmán), individual developer. On Google Play the App is listed as “Toilet Finder - WiFi Water” (package name com.voyagermap.voyagermobil.voyagermobil); on the Apple App Store it is listed as “Voyager Maps”.

Delete your account in the App

1. Sign in and open Profile.
2. Tap Delete Account.
3. Type delete_user to confirm, and tap Delete account.

This is the way to delete your account. The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you no longer have access to the App (for example, you uninstalled it or lost your device), write to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account. We verify the request and then delete the account the same way.

What is deleted

• your account, profile details, App language and sign-in methods;
• your consent settings and newsletter subscription;
• your favourites, your private places that nobody else uses, and the trips only you are part of;
• uploaded images that are no longer shown anywhere;
• pending trip invitations sent to your email address, and your email address on reports you made.

Anything the App was still keeping on this device to send later (places, changes or photos made without a connection) stays only on the device and is never sent once the account is gone. Deleting the App, or clearing its data, removes it.

What is kept, without being linked to you

Content that other people rely on is not deleted, but it no longer points to you:

• places you made public, or that someone else has saved or put in a trip, with their images;
• trips shared with other people, which pass to another member of the trip;
• your reports and proposed changes to places, and place data already published on OpenStreetMap, which we cannot remove from there.

If any of this content itself identifies you (for example, a photo of you or your name in a description), write to us and we will remove it.

We also keep the record of the consents you gave and withdrew, without any other data about you, to be able to prove them; and if your address is on our do-not-email list, it stays there so that we never write to it again. Beyond that, we keep only an anonymous monthly count of deleted accounts, by App language and sign-in method, which cannot identify you. See section 10/A of the Privacy Policy.

If you signed in with Google or Apple, only the data stored by Voyager Maps is affected. You may also want to remove Voyager Maps from the connected apps in your Google or Apple account settings.

If you used the App without an account

In guest mode there is no account to delete: what you created is held on your device, and the server only holds a device identifier, a guest identifier and the counters described in section 3/A of the Privacy Policy. Deleting the App removes the device identifier and everything kept on the device; the guest session left behind on the server is deleted automatically after 90 days without a visit, and the request counts after 30 days.

How long does deletion take?

Deletion in the App is immediate. A request by email, if you can no longer use the App, is processed without undue delay and no later than 30 days after successful verification of the request.

Additional verification

In certain cases, we may request additional information to verify your identity before processing the deletion request.

Legal retention

Certain data may be retained for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes (for example, billing records) for the period required by applicable law. Such data will be deleted after the mandatory retention period expires.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority — in Hungary, the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH, naih.hu) — or with the authority of the country where you live.
